NGL One: Season 2 Finals this weekend

The Grand Finals of the NGL One CS1.6 Season 2 tournament will be taking place this weekend at the eSports convention at the Cinestar Original in Berlin, Germany.

A few weeks ago the online group stage of the NGL One Season 2came to an end. After a bit of controversy surrounding the British Royalty 4 Kings, 4 teams were left to battle it out in the offline LAN finals which will take place from March 30th - April 1st. The teams participating include:

• Fnatic
• Team NoA
• SK-Gaming
• 69°N-28°E

At the Games Convention 2006 in Leipzig, Germany the NGL ONE Finals2006 took place in front of more than 180.000 exhibition visitors and87.000 IPTV viewers. The NGL ONE Finals 2006/2007 will be played out atthe world’s first eSports Convention – in the heart of Berlin, at theCineStar Original cinema at the Potsdamer Place. In two cinema hallsthe matches will be shown from Friday, March 30th till Sunday, April1st being commented in both English and German.

The prizes for the event are as follows:

1st Place: 69°N-28°E- 20,000 $
2nd Place: fnatic - 10,000 $
3rd Place: NoA - 5,000 $

This means one team will go home with nothing, so all the participants have nothing to lose and everything to play for. Here is the schedule for the event:
